Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance launches Joint Venture Campaign
CHATHAM-KENT: The Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance will be announcing a joint venture fundraising campaign on Friday November 25th, 2005 at 12:15 p.m., at the Wallaceburg Rotary Club office, 507 Elizabeth Street, Wallaceburg.
This joint fundraising venture includes the following partners - the Chatham Kent-Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee, the Wallaceburg Rotary Club and the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. The launch will include the introduction of the Honorary Campaign Chair, Co-Chairs, and announcement of campaign goal.
Michele Grzebien, Executive Director of the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance shared, “This municipal wide campaign will be spearheaded by the Foundation, with community based volunteer support, and address the need to ensure funds are in place to assist with the recruitment of family physicians and specialists to Chatham-Kent.”
“It is vital that we raise the necessary funds to ensure all residents of our municipality have access to a family physician. Currently, 20,000 residents in Chatham-Kent are without a family physician ”, Michele continued.
The Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is a registered charity. Its primary purpose is to enhance the quality of health care available to the citizens of Chatham-Kent by raising funds and other resources in support of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
