On Thursday, April 6, 2017, the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) will host its 15th Annual Parade of Chefs, featuring Restaurateur, Dragon’s Den Investor and Sommelier, Chef Vikram Vij. All proceeds from this event will support the CKHA Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign.

15th Annual Parade of Chefs

A first for the Parade of Chefs, this year’s evening of fine dining will include a menu created by local chefs and inspired by Chef Vikram and Eastern Cuisine. Each course will be accompanied by local wines and beers.

The Foundation of CKHA is also excited to welcome back the CKHA Physician wine servers.

“Our chefs will be working together to create an inspired menu that will take guests on a culinary journey,” says Barb Noorenberghe, Development Officer, Foundation of CKHA. “We want to make our 15th anniversary of Parade of Chefs memorable for our guests, our chefs and our celebrity Chef Vikram.”

Introducing Chef Vikram Vij

Chef Vikram was born and raised in India until the age of 20, when he traveled to Austria to study, live and work, and went on to receive his chef certificate. Vikram moved to Banff, Alberta in 1989. Vikram’s culinary skills have extended to television, where he was a guest judge on Food Network Canada’s Top Chef Canada, Chopped Canada and CBC’s Recipe to Riches. In 2014, Chef Vikram appeared for one season on CBC’s Dragon Den, where he invested in a number of news businesses.
